Thank you for visiting Emerald City Chronicles website for the Seattle, Washington based Vampire: The Masquerade (tm) Live Action Role Playing (LARP) Society. Welcome and have a look at our Forums and House Rules. This site is updated occasionally, so be sure to visit often!

Who: Emerald City Chronicles live action role-playing (LARP) society (and you!) | What: The largest and longest running Vampire LARP west of the Mississippi. | Where: The University of Washington campus. Click here for directions. | When: Every Saturday night from 10PM to 2AM Sunday. |
Within this site you will find information about the Old World of Darkness (tm) setting of Emerald Chronicles for the Vampire Sphere of roleplaying, including information about Clans, Rules, Elysia and other places of interest to the undead of Seattle.
On the out of game side of things, you'll see house rules for character generation, our Status and Influence systems, and other interesting tidbits we're up to to improve the game experience for players.
If you are interested in joining the game, or returning to this long-running Vampire LARP, please take a moment to contact the Storytellers at the links provided in the Storytellers section, or simply take a look around the site at the house rules.
The game site for Emerald Chronicles is located in Red Square in the heart of the University of Washington's campus. In the warm months the game is held outdoors, with the picturesque neo-Gothic architecture of the square as a fitting backdrop to the tales of blood and greed in the city of emerald dream. Click here for Directions.
During the winter, the heated garage beneath the square serves as the gritty industrial stage for the interim. EC has been around in one incarnation or another since the early 90's and has hosted many different storytellers and a variety of colorful characters... and those are just the players. Needless to say, with that kind of long history (both the good and the bad) we tend to have a lot of dedicated players with a strong sense of community who really take the quality of the game to heart!
If you are interested in joining a LARP and have never played in a live action forum, or if you are an experienced LARPer, there is something for you to enjoy. The game has a long history of accepting all comers and has for many years been a fun and cheap entertainment resource for young adults in the U-district community. If you'd like to get a feel for the game before trying it out, a good place to go would be the Message Boards where you can read in-character stories and interact with the ECC LARP community in an out of game capacity, ask questions, etc.
If you have questions about the game or would like assistance with character creation, come find us at game or contact the storyteller via email in the Storyteller section. There's also a lot of good information here on this site, certainly enough to get you a solid start.
We'd be happy to help with any questions you have.
